Cornell University’s Diversity and Inclusion certified, Alexander is a foreign policy and economics graduate of George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), writing his master’s thesis, The Consequences of the Sanctions on the impact of U.N. economic sanctions against Iraq. In the wake of the Ukraine invasion, his SAIS Review of International Affairs paper traces how evolving ESG attitudes helped launch sanctions against Russia. He is currently exploring a story on stolen Jewish property in Baghdad.
